Virtual Resource Management
Release 3.1 introduced virtual resource management (VRM) as a standard part of CA-7. After a shaky start, it's now a standard tool in most CA-7 sites. This one-day course takes delegates through the four main areas of VRM, discussing the both the good and pit falls of each sections. Batch terminal syntax is also detailed as well as release 3.2 changes.

Workload Balancing
This area of CA-7 has more twists and turns than any other part of the package. Here we go through all the reasons why WLB will hold a job and every non-submission reason. Also all WLB commands are discussed and how to ensure jobs have the correct TAPE usage count.
