BTI Build:
Now we have finished creating the new flat files, it is time to generate the CA-7 batch input cards. These can be read by a CA-7 utility (SASSBSTR) to create the CA-7 scheduling database. All these programs are called  PGMBx (where x is 1-9 & A).

BTI Programs:
Each program generates the one type of input card. PGMB1 generates the job definitions, PGMB2 the triggers, PGMB3 the predecessors (some times called or job requirements). PGMB4 build the job schedules for the header jobs and PGMB5 the text USER requirements for the general work stations.

Here you can see the other 5 BTI build programs. PGMB6 generates all the virtual resource management (Special resource) definitions and PGMB7 the SETP details. PGMB8 checks that jobs are pointing to the correct library. PGMB9 defines more virtual resource management definitions to control the R1 and R2 resources, while PGMBA defines the prose documentation for each application.
