OPC/ESA Reports: Here you can see the five OPC/ESA reports that are read by the programs. Note the naming conversion of the files that are produced. The first five letters are the name of the program, with the last three being a description of the contents.
LTP    = Long Term Plan
WRK  = Workstation
VRM  = Special Resources
PCS    = Period Calendars

OPS = Operation
CYC = Cyclic data

CAL = Calendar
PRD = Predecessors

Flat File Example:
Here you can see part of the OPS file. The first line contains the name of the file and the date and time it was created. The third line contains the tiles of each of the columns. After these headers, each line here details one operation, you can see the application name, operation number, work station type, job name etc. Any value here can be changed before running PGM50 if you want to tidy data before it is converted.

Data processing:
The core of the package is the processing of the OPC data by the programs numbered 41 to 95. These create and  update versions of the flat files we have just seen. We will look at all of these in detail.
